Sessions

What is TTouch good for?
TTouch helps animals to overcome a variety of problems such as:  Grooming issues, shyness, fear of the vet, fear of thunder and other loud noises, leash pulling, excitability, nervousness, aggression, barking, etc.  in a kind and cooperative manner.

What animals can benefit from TTouch?
I specialize in dogs but will happily work with cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.

What can you expect from a TTouch session?

A completed profile form about your animals' history and where you'd like to see change, is where we begin.  This provides Kat with sufficient history to provide you with a customized TTouch approach that will be the most effective for positive change.

At your first session you'll be asked to bring the equipment you currently use with your animal (leash, harness, head collar, etc.) so that we can work with what you already have and see where you are.  Success is the goal.   It's not Kat's aim to "change" what you've got and are working with, however we may explore different equipment to better achieve success in working with your animal.

You will learn TTouches for your dog specific for his or her needs that you can do yourself.

We'll explore the TTouch ground equipment for increasing his or her confidence and ability to cope in everyday life as well as open neural pathways that will increase his/her ability to learn new things.

The first session lasts about an hour and a half with follow-up 1 hour sessions.   I recommend a minimum of 3 sessions about 1 week apart, depending upon your animal and your own needs & schedule.

Things you can expect from TTouch is a calmer, confident, less reactive dog and a much closer relationship between the two of you.   Most dogs show some immediate change with steady improvement over time;  however every dog is unique and some individuals take longer to blossom than others.  You, the owner, will gain new perspective & understanding of your animal companion and the skills for helping your dog to improve.

All animals benefit from TTouch regardless of age, breed or behavior.   Performance/show animals benefit in increased balance, agility, coping skills and confidence.  Aged animals benefit from age-associated relief from discomfort.   Young animals receive a healthy foundation.   If you just want to have a closer relationship with your animal... TTouch is remarkably effective.

TTouch practitioners never use prong or choke collars or any other torture device.   If you're using them to control your dog, you'll learn a kinder, more effective method.

Clubs, Organizations, animal groups & businesses
